KOH SAI KHAO
Location : Located to the south of Koh Chang, near Salak Phet bay
How to get there: You can buy a package tour of Koh Sai Khao Resort or hire a boat at Ban Salak Phet. It takes about 5 minutes by express boat.
Formerly, Koh Sai Khao was named Koh Phrao Nok as the island had coconut trees in abundance. Later, it's renamed after its distinctive feature which is white sand dune (Sai Khao). During the low tide, white sand dune stretching for over 100 m. among the green emerald water can be seen. The sand dune leads to a small plain which is the site of Koh Sai Khao resort. It's the only plain of the island among the hill covered by the forest.
If you want to take a walk around Koh Sai Khao, the resort provides a cement walking path along the coast. At night, you can go squid fishing around the pier of the island
