My new journey began when my gang asked me to go to Koh Lanta with them. Koh Lanta is in Krabi Province. It can be reached Trang by train in early morning and then took a boat to Small Lanta Island and then changed to the boat heading to Big Lanta Island. It took 2 hours to the island.
We reached Rawi Warin Resort and Spa on Klong Tob beach. It is a large well decorated resort with full facilities including swimming pool, gym, and entertainment room. All beaches on Koh Lanta face to the West; therefore, that evening, we watched picturesque sunset before heading off for diner.
On the second day, we traveled around the island on rented motorbikes. There are many beautiful beaches around the island, and Baguntiang beach. Besides beautiful beaches, we visited old town called Sang Ga Au Village which is inhabited be the last group of Thai Mai ethnic. Next stop was Koh Lanta National Park which is the location of Laem Tanode with a lighthouse. The road is very rough and steep,so,be careful. Our last stop of the day was view point where Khao Yai restaurant is located.
On the third day , although we wished we could extend our stay to take a snorkeling trip to Koh Rog, we had to go back to bangkok. We got on the bus at Klong Tom in Krabi which was very convenience because we didn't have to go to downtown to take a bus.
If we have a chance, We will definitely go back to Koh Lanta to comfy resort, nice food, and beautiful beach.
